What is Heel Dog Command?

One of the most basic dog training commands that all dog owners must learn is what is heel dog command. After they’ve heard this phrase maybe a few times, they will shake their head and think of all the other silly commands that dogs have. But it is true, heel dog command is one of the most difficult for dogs to understand. There are several reasons for this. One is that the word hell is a word that might not be immediately understood by your dog.

There are three sounds that make up the word heel dog command and they are lee, rolle and heel. Most people know these sounds. It is very easy to communicate with our dogs by using these words. When I was a young boy I was taught to use these words in order to get my dog to do what I wanted him too. He would come when called or come right before I gave the order to him.

One of the most important things to remember when learning what is heel dog command is consistency. You must stick to this command word if you want your dog to understand it. There are lots of dog training techniques that tell you to give the command word in a certain order. These are just another way of saying that you must do this or that to your dog. Sticking to the command word is what really teaches a dog what is a heel dog command.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that your heel dog command may not be effective if your dog gets anxious when you give the command word. Your dog may just turn its back and look confused. This makes it harder to communicate with you. In order to have an obedient dog that comes when called, you must learn what are heel dog command and then practice it a lot.

The heel dog command is one of the easiest commands to learn. It does not require any type of physical work on your part. It does not even require you to have a walk behind you as the dog will always come to you when you call it. All you have to do is teach your dog what is heel dog command and practice it with your dog until he has mastered it. After you have perfected it, you can start to use it on a regular basis.

If your dog comes to you, it is time to begin the exercise by using the heel command. Begin by walking forward slowly and making sure that your dog stays with you and does not run ahead. Once you have walked forward about three steps, say the heel command and then quickly move back. Do this over again and your dog will soon learn that heel command is to stay with you. You can even use the heel command when your dog is not walking. This way he will be used to the command and will be able to understand and follow it properly.

A good way to practice the heel dog training is by recording yourself teaching it to your dog and use that tape in training sessions with your dog. You can also give your dog treats every time he obeys your command. Make sure that you only treat him for obedience training and not for other kinds of behavior. Only treats will help him with the heel dog command and not confuse the two.

One good way to make the heel command a little easier to understand is to practice it by going the opposite direction. For example, if you were to say, “Stay,” you could take your dog in the opposite direction and say, “Fetch.” This will teach your dog that the heel command means going in the opposite direction and not staying in the same direction. If your dog does not understand this one step you may want to try it again the next time you give the command to your dog. With enough practice your dog will be able to understand it the second time around.
